Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a deeply rhythmic, gentle manual therapy that works just beneath the skin where your delicate lymphatic vessels reside. Unlike deep-tissue massage, MLD is light and soothing—most clients experience profound nervous-system relaxation, immediate fluid decompression, and frequently fall asleep during treatment.
The masseter muscle (responsible for chewing and clenching) can hold up to 70kg of force. During buccal therapy, Sarah works inside and outside the oral cavity with sterile gloves to systematically soften hypertonic muscle fibers, easing chronic TMJ pain, morning tension headaches, and naturally lifting the cheek structure.
We recommend drinking plenty of fresh water prior to your arrival and avoiding heavy meals or alcohol for at least 12 hours beforehand. Following your session, continuing hydration is vital as your kidneys work to process the circulated waste fluid.
If your primary concern is overall fluid retention and sluggishness, book the Integrative Manual Lymphatic Drainage (75 min).
